This presentation provides managers with an overview of how to use Kinetic Request to manage data. This is most often used for data supporting Kinetic Request and Kinetic Task processes, but truly, this Data Management Console can be used for any data.
- What is this Data Management Console?
- What is supporting data?
- How does it work?
- How do I get it?
The data management console provides a way to review and manage data without having to know where or how it is stored. The console's main purpose is to help create and maintain supporting data for Kinetic Requests, Surveys, and Tasks, but its capabilities extend beyond that scope. From a conceptual standpoint, it allows data management activities to be simplified, centralized, secured, validated, and approved before being implemented. This session will focus on the main functions of the data management console in managing supporting information for the Kinetic suite of applications. Examples of supporting information include data used to display menus, data used to control incident or work order routing, and data used by task handlers. Come and learn how the data management console can be leveraged to easily support frequently changing data and to delegate the data management activities to the right individuals.
The data management console is a package that can be added to any implementation of Kinetic Request that supports Kinetic Bridges. This package and all supporting documentation is available on the Community
